The Greenfield Inn

Breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt and hot biscuits!

Very cosy and welcoming Inn. Jarvis and Carla were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very olde world feel Can’t comment on breakfast as we left early but we were offered to help ourselves to foods from the fridge or Carla would provide something hot from the kitchen. As I said, nothing was too much trouble. Can highly recommend the Mexican nearby with great food and good vibe

If you’re looking for modern and clinical it wouldn’t be found here but we think it adds to the charm

If you want a little bit of history, this is your place. Its very being is steeped in history going back over 200 years. It is a delightful old family house expertly converted into a B&B and furnished with period furniture. The owners are delightful and are very welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional with the best bacon so far in the three weeks of our stay here! Highly recommended.

The only thing I would change is a bit more powerful lighting.

Scented laundry detergent for the bedding is overwhelming. When it’s not your own, it’s all you notice. Always use unscented. Also, King bed was WAY too soft.

Excellent home-cooked breakfast, including blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, frittata, fresh fruit and more.The facility is a classic 200+ year-old inn, complete with squeaky floors, comfortable and well-equipped common areas, and a great front porch. Both the owner and the innkeeper are kind and helpful.

Most of the rooms are on the 2nd floor, which one expects with an old inn and is only a problem if someone has trouble navigating stairs. The positive aspects of the facility make this a minor issue.

I’m a minimalist concerning breakfast, yogurt, berries and a muffin suited my likes. Room large, with a comfortable king size bed.

Room location, being a front room, steps to front door, shared wall with stairs to other 7 rooms, close to common rooms resulted in noisy location, especially with late ( almost 10:00 pm) arrivals.

The breakfast meals were perfect. Not too much or too little. Food and coffee were good. Good variety including fresh fruit.

We stayed 3 days. The bathroom towels should have been changed out.
