Nice facilities

Room was spacious and clean.

Breakfast was cold self serve continental. Quite disappointing. Room had limited electrical plugs. I had to move lamps etc. to make space for my devices. There was no one to meet you when you checked in - self serve check-in with a printed document at the front. Pretty impersonal overall.

The location was nice! It was a quiet little road and in a country setting. Beautiful grounds with flowers blooming around and well kept grass. The porch was very nice to sit out on in the evening. The fridge was well stocked with water and juice and there was a nice little breakfast for us in the morning.

The bed was not very comfortable and neither were the pillows. The shades didn’t go all the way down and the sheer curtains let in a lot of light first thing in the morning. The towels were worn and not very soft or fluffy.

Property was clean, cozy and great location. Beautiful wrap around porch with several types of rockers and chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery with your choice of beverage. Clean kitchen facilities with coffee and tea available 24hrs. Rooms are very unique and cozy with all the New England charm. A short walk brings you to a great Mexican restaurant with tons of options and outstanding food. The common room downstairs is very comfortable and accommodating to mingle with other guests or simply relax. Air conditioning in our room (Juliet and Romeo) worked perfectly with a cute private bathroom. Just a great stay for our only night after hiking at near by Purgatory Falls.

A wonderful historic setting! Jarvis was a great host.

Jarvis cooked a lovely breakfast delicious and if you wanted something light- plenty of grab to go items available
