The nature surrounding the building is gorgeous. Great for a morning walk.

TV didn’t work, and host was unable to fix. She said that it happens a lot, and most guests don’t use the TVs (probably because they don’t work!). While the website has photos of beautiful weddings, it appeared to be a dying business because there was much of the property that was not maintained. There were abandoned buildings falling apart, unmowed grass, overgrown foliage, etc. The building has a foul odor - musky and old. Much of it appears unused with old memorabilia and junk in random places. Portable air conditioners in both rooms were loud. When we asked the host for a discount due to TV not working, she said no. They had two boiled eggs out for all guests at breakfast. When I asked for more eggs for us, she seemed surprised. Breakfast included cheap store bought pastries and homemade egg bakes. This is a mediocre place to stay and seems like more of a hobby for the owners than an actual business. Which is sad bc there is a lot of potential.

Very comfortable bed and pillow, interesting location, interesting property excellent breakfast owners are extremely friendly. I honestly can’t wait to come back for another visit.

Proximity to Stillwater and Marina on St. Croix. Very comfortable bed.

Little to no hot water; grounds were not well kept; communication by host was less than stellar. Checkin process was a mystery.

Very rustic location, peaceful and away from town.

They kept a lot of the original features but they’re in desperate need of repair. Even replaced faucet fixtures and redoing caulking would go a lot way. A lot of unrealized potential in this place.

Ambiance was perfect, breakfast was spectacular, hosts were so friendly, grounds and building were gorgeous. 10/10 vibes.

Have zero complaints. It was perfect.
