Alma De Sedona Inn B&B

This is a great place to stay when visiting Sedona. The rooms are large and comfortable if rather dated. The balconies have great views.

It is highly unusual not to have your room serviced during your stay. I really can’t see any excuse for no cleaning. The costs do not reflect this. Breakfast is good and homemade but there is no choice. It is also only available from 8-9.30 so if you want to go for a hike it is a fairly late start. We felt these quirks were there to help the inn rather than the guests.

I loved the quiet! No kids! The B&B was close to restaurants and town. Easy access in and out. The room was good sized, the bed was comfy, and the water pressure was awesome.The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

Wonderful little Inn. We felt at home surrounded with a great staff. The only thing that needs an attention would be a stuffy smell in a Desert Dream room. Otherwise a great place with an excellent breakfast.

Pros: 1. Great staff, very attentive and kind. I appreciated all the communication and texts. Wish though their online system wasn't so confusing. When they reply to your messages, you apparently have to scroll all the way down to read it. A lot of the message at the beginning is filled with so much general information, I didn't notice they had replied to my personal messages until I was done with the trip. Loved that the cleaning lady left me some bath salts to try, it was very kind of her. 2. Location was great, very convenient and close to everything, yet very quiet which I prefer. 3. Enjoyed my view of the mountains and the terrace. 4. The room and bathroom are quite big and spacious.

I hate to give negative reviews and usually never bother. However, I hope this helps for any one who is considering the hotel. Cons: 1. The room was very outdated, stains on the carpet, dinged up furniture and walls, overall decor and paint felt so dark and uninviting, the fridge must have been from the 80s as it made quite a loud noise when it's on, the bedding looked like it was also 30 years old. I felt quite uncomfortable when I walked in and just wanted to go find another place. I would not be comfortable recommending this place to my friends, basically. This was my first trip to Sedona and location was key, however, I would rather stay father away in a more comfortable place. 2. No internet connection in the room. I did complain to the staff, they said multiple times "it was just me" who was complaining, but at the end of the day I had to use my personal hotspot as internet didn't work my whole stay. I was basically shocked that for this price, after all taxes and fees you get quite a dumpy place. And all those amazing reviews? But I guess Sedona is outrageously expensive, so if you want to save some money you have not many options. The Cheapest Hotel by Phoenix airport next day was a pure luxury in comparison.

Beautiful property; staff wonderful; easy check in

The location was quiet. The staff was nice.

The room was ok but very outdated. The chair at the table is probably on its last leg. We were afraid to sit in it because it felt like it was going to break. The locks to the door did not feel very secure. We did not have consistent hot water. When you start the shower the water would be hot then about 45 seconds later the water would go cold. Also when you start the shower it sprays under the glass door all over the floor and becomes a slip hazard. The white sheets were stained, when we told the staff they did give new sheets. We went to pull the towels from the towel rack above the toilet it completely fell down and upon further inspection the screw holes on the wall were too big and the extra space was filled with towel paper.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised and impressed! We had room #1 and it was adorable. Extra large bathroom with double shower heads and heated floor. Room was spacious with lots of seating and table top space. King bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. Host was very hospitable. 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone!

April, Vicky, Alberto, and Nancy make a great and genuine job! They made us feel at home and with a sense of family!
