Breakfast was delicious and individual preferences and requests were considered. We appreciated the care that went into making each meal special. Bed was comfortable and the decor was charming. We thought the lodging, considering the breakfast provided, was an excellent value. Gardens were amazing.

Perhaps a larger chair in the room, as that was our only seating while in the room. Although it was early in the year, having the gazebo set up for outdoor seating might have been nice.

Excellent breakfast, a surprise each day! Very comfortable room. Homely feel to the property. Friendly and hospitable hosts. Easy walking distance to the local town. A good spot to visit the surrounding area.

Ww would have appreciated tea/coffee making facility for the evenings, either in room or a convenient location.

Location. Convenient to Rappahannock Wildfowl Carving Festival in White Stone, several locally-owned restaurants and antique shops. Superb multi-course breakfasts with tasty quiche, crepes, frittata, hand made scones, French beignets and fruit creations. Welcoming hosts. Inviting, comfortable rooms and beds. Lovely decor and antique! vintage furnishings. Quiet. Homemade cookies in vestibule! Talented, convivial hosts.

How could anyone not like a stately, well-maintained early 20th century property where a grand Japanese magnolia was awash in silken, pink blooms, the curly willow was showing green buds and heirloom spiraea in early bloom?

Beautiful house, filled with antiques. Welcoming hosts and compliments to the chef for the awesome breakfast!

It’s homey in the style of America mid-1920s. Breakfast was nice with good, hot coffee and pleasant conversation with the hosts. Room and bed were quite comfortable. Wifi is available.

Nothing to dislike

It was good combination of healthy and yummy.
