Lovely bed and breakfast in Media! Very convenient location. The owners are so nice and welcoming, and the house is beautiful!

I love the Gifford-Risley House B&B. I stayed on Valentine's Day, and a split of champagne, chocolates, and a rose were waiting for me. "Z", the owner, is so nice and down-to-earth. He checked me in quickly when I arrived, so that I could get to the Media Theatre on-time. I was happy to find out I could walk a few blocks to the theatre, which was an added bonus. I soaked up every inch of this historic inn. There is so much to see and enjoy. The sitting room, dining room, piano room, and the gorgeous greenhouse room are a sight to see. My bedroom, on the third floor, the Eastlake, is beautiful. It is very spacious, and the bathroom has a huge walk-in shower. The bed was really comfortable, and I loved the small Lincoln Rocker in my room. It fit me just perfectly. Breakfast the next morning at 9:00 a.m. was delicious. It was a cheese egg souffle, ham, potatoes, tomatoes, fresh strawberries and blueberries. There were also homemade muffins, which I will taste the next time I visit. Before I checked out, I had a nice conversation with the owner Monika, who is so nice. I cannot wait to return to this amazing bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a little tender care!

I guess the only thing I didn't like about my stay was that it was too short. I could have stayed at Gifford-Risley House for days on end.

Honestly I couldn't find a reason not to stay at this location.

This is somehow beyond the quintessential B&B, and owners Monica and Z clearly work very hard to make it just so. Every tiny detail was considered, from the decor to the room accessories to the delicious breakfast. You could stay there monthly and still be noticing new details easy visit. I only wish we’d known about Gifford-Risley House every other time we stayed in Media!
