Samani Bukhara

The location is near the old city of Bukhara. The service roads are small. Yendex Go could not send us to the front door. If you use Yandex Go, type "labi houze" as the destination. It will drop you at a major road about 200m from Samani Bukhara. Owners are friendly. Breakfast is adequate. I like the eggs and the wrap

1. This is NOT a professionally run Hotel. It is a home-stay. The owner stays in with parents and grandchildren and turns the house into an accommodation ( if memory is right, the owner said they have 20 rooms). Owners stay in the property. Rooms are a bit tight for 2 person. 2. To advertise as a hotel, it misrepresents as people would have different expectations. 3. There are no elevators. The elderly might have a problem. We were lucky that we got a ground-floor room. 4. The worst part is probably the bathroom/toilet. It is smelly all the time. There is poor ventilation as there is no exhaust fan. Despite closing the door, the smells come into the room. This is not good 5. The toilet has no bidet for Muslims. Very inconvenient. 6. Towels are hardened and look aged.

Lovely oasis in the heart of Bukhara by the lake. Wonderful family who clearly took great pride and care in the quality of their business/service, and ensuring guests felt welcomed and looked after. We had a wonderful stay and felt truly supported and looked after by all the family members. Excellent value for money for a large family room. A peaceful living space with relaxing courtyard, very plentiful breakfast and lovely lovely staff. Thankyou!

Der umtriebige Chef hatte auf jede Frage eine Antwort und sprach ein sehr gutes Englisch. Auch sein Vater und die ganze Familie waren sehr nett!

Das sehr dicke Bettzeug, aber es wurde sofort getauscht. Rahmat!

Mr Farkhodbek is extremely generous to let us stay until 3 PM with no additional fee! The location is perfect, near Labi Hovuz. The hosts are so kind to us. Hearthy breakfast also!
