The entire experience was exceedingly bad and left nothing to like, unfortunately.

Host physically checked us into our room, then asked us to vacate 5 mins later because emails were not read and bank transfer was not made in time. The booking was made the afternoon before our arrival. We were not able to check emails on the day of traveling and assumed all was well as the booking.com confirmed was received as always. In all the years of using booking.com, we pay by credit card, either when booking or at the institution. Once the booking is confirmed, we travel with confidence. To be told upon arrival that because we never checked our emails and never made the cash transfer, our booking was canceled was less than acceptable. The host didn't bother to call us when she received no email reply from us. Imagine when you have driven from Cape Town and have a 7yo daughter, such a shock and non-existent hospitality, is undesirable. I asked why we were not called by the establishment regarding the pending cancelation but was rudely told I should have checked my emails over and over and over. I was rude back, out of sheer exhaustion and desperation. This was unfortunate.

Facility is perfect for my needs. Extremely friendly and helpful host.

I liked the king size bed, the big bathroom, the well equipped kitchenette, the many plug points, the inverter for TV during blackouts, and the big table.

WiFi reception was not great. I missed the breakfast that used to be provided.

Exceptional host made you feel so welcome, breakfast was incredible, perfect studio.
