Great location not only for several golf courses but also the view of the lagoon and access into Knysna. A beautiful, peaceful setting with regular visits to the garden by birds especially Sacred Ibis. The property had a faded charm. Very welcoming reception from hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service. Good sized pool enabling a proper swim and not just a plunge.

Load shedding could not be avoided but advance warning from the hosts about timing made it manageable and portable lighting was supplied. A small fridge in the room would have been preferable to having to use the one fridge available to use downstairs. The sound of frogs in the pond at night could be an irritant for light sleepers!
