The most amazing hosts we’ve ever had! We felt so welcome, safe and comfortable, it was like staying with family. Cindy is an amazing cook and we enjoyed a huge, homemade breakfast feast. The house and gardens are so beautiful and peaceful in a little countryside oasis yet only a short drive from the buzzing Knysna town centre. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you for everything!

"Exceptional"

This accommodation exceeded all our expectations for the second time. The hospitality is truly outstanding – a clear 10/10. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely perfect, prepared with great care and quality. The atmosphere is very warm and familiar, making you feel at home from the first moment. You can feel the love for detail everywhere in the house.

Loved our stay here! Beautiful location, great vibes. Cindy, Günter and Maxine made us feel at home and the homemade breakfast was the best. Will 100% come back and recommend!

Die Unterkunft war einfach großartig. Alles war außerordentlich sauber und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort wohlgefühlt hat. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und dennoch nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum von Knysna entfernt – perfekt, um zu entspannen und gleichzeitig alles gut zu erreichen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Frühstück, das mit Abstand das beste auf unserer gesamten Rundreise war. Vor allem die Brownies und die Frittata waren absolut herausragend. Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt durch die wundervollen Gastgeber: sehr sympathische, herzliche und freundliche Menschen, die unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht haben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

É tutto nuovo o di recentissima costruzione/installazione. C’è tutto quello che serve trovare in camera quando si viaggia e l’arredamento denota un tocco da artista. La location è superlativa, immersa nel verde e costeggiata dalla foresta su due lati. La colazione, servita nel gazebo del sontuoso giardino, è deliziosa. Tutto fatto in casa! La professionalità è l’immensa gentilezza della famiglia che gestisce questa Guest House lascia a bocca aperta. Si sta davvero bene!

"Amazing breakfast!"

Our stay at BWHALE Guesthouse was wonderful from start to finish. The owners make you feel genuinely at home from the moment you arrive. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and the care they took was truly exceptional. My husband is coeliac and cannot eat gluten, and they went out of their way every day to prepare different gluten-free options for him — all of them delicious. It made such a difference to feel so well looked after. The guesthouse also has a beautiful, large garden, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

No wardrobe in the room.
