Sue was super helpful and friendly. The rock pool was a bonus and gardens are beautiful. The view from the room onto the river is stunning

Stayed here for two nights during our trip to see family, the host Sue was just lovely. We felt so welcome and looked after, but also given space and privacy, which was just what we needed for our little getaway. The view from Chalet 3 is divine, sitting with a coffee in the mornings and looking at the river was just wonderful. And the bed was super comfy, the shower had really good hot water, the attacked self-catering kitchen was a real bonus. Just loved it.

"Relaxing weekend getaway - perfect for couples"

Such a relaxing little gem of a place! My husband and i just wanted a night away together to re connect and have some peace and I am so glad we picked the treehouse river lodge! There was a quick and friendly check in, we were greeted by some friendly doggies (I was glad to see dogs there for security!) Our room overlooked a beautiful river, rooms are simple but clean and all you need. We had a kitchenette which was handy. We loved that we had a terrace to play cards and have a drink on. It was everything we needed. There was even a spot for us to have a braai in the late afternoon. Just lovely.

We forgot to bring some milk for tea. The hosts were very kind and gave us some but the nearest shop was 15 minutes away - so I was thinking it would be very smart of them to have a mini shop at the treehouse river lodge where you could purchase things like milk and snacks? Just a suggestion.
