The Riverhouse Guesthouse

We stayed in the Standard Queen Room located in the garden annex, we enjoyed the scenery and the property was well kept and maintained. Our room was comfortable and neat. The host was excellent and she was really accommodating. We opted for the half board, both breakfast and dinner were great.

All aspects of our stay were excellent, just be a little wary of some small creatures and critters in the garden that we found were coming into the room.

Everything was amazing they the host would call just to check up on us we had a wonderful stay i will definitelycome back

Accueil très attentionné. Quartier calme. Une confortable petite maisonnette dans une jolie propriété. Bien agencée, lumineuse, petite salle de bain fonctionnelle. Très bon petit déjeuner dans un cadre agréable.

Katie was a great host; Location was safe and parking secure. Nice shower after a long day, Room 2 was very nice and spacious. Close to all the eating places if you didn't want to eat at the premises. Had a great breakfast.

About a month prior to arriving, we (an elderly couple in their 70s) let them know that we were travelling with a dog (as the accommodation is pet friendly); however, upon arrival we were told that they were not aware of the dog and that the booked room would not be available. Staff were rude about the room change, despite being informed about it. Ended up staying in a converted garage that left a lot to be desired. The entire place needs a lot of TLC and looks neglected. Absolutely disappointed on how the situation was handled and the lack of communication between the staff. Will not be staying there again and urge potential clients to seek accommodation elsewhere.
