We picked Beach Break B&B for its location on our way when crossing South Africa by car. But we found the place as one we wish we had booked to stay longer. We thank Alan and Lilian for their exceptional hospitality. Amazing breakfast is the specialty of this place. The B&B is located just in 5min walk from the Kelly's Beach.

The attention to detail of the owners, was exemplary. The superb breakfasts were delicious with so many options to choose from. Alan and Lillian were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome, while at the same time giving us privacy. Not an easy balance to get right. The proximity of the property to the protected dunes and the sea was also great. The sound of the ocean put us to sleep at night. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended beach break B&B to friends and family

It's an amazing place to stay....clean and tidy. Lillian and Alan are great hosts. They thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was perfect, and the breakfasts were outstanding! I would stay there again anytime.

I have mixed feelings about giving Beach Break a good review, because if I award Lillian and Allan with the recognition that they absolutely deserve then I fear we will never get to stay there again solely because staying here will become a bucket list entry such as the seven wonders of the world. A Bnb is exactly what it sounds like; decent food and a bed to rest your head, so I more than truly believe that the name 'Beach Break Bnb' is completely false advertising because this was so much more than a meal and a cot. Beach break truly offered the most impeccably beautiful rooms that were attended to daily to ensure that the standard was kept, the most incredible fresh breakfast that kept us happy and full for the day ahead until dinner, and so much more that I unfortunately can't seem to find the words to describe. Not only that, but our hosts Lillian and Allan truly became part of the family within mere hours of our arrival. Personality and authenticity can't be store bought or dressed up with a ribbon, and that is a key element to the hospitality industry that you can search far and wide for without any luck. Many feel home sick towards the end of their extended holidays away from home, but leaving Port Alfred's borders and knowing that was the last morning that we would wake up to waves and a delectable homemade breakfast brought more sadness to our hearts that anything else. Had we brought our precious dog and had a few of the extended family members been present, I don't believe anyone could have convinced us to leave. Trying to completely sum up our love for Beach break is completely in vain, so all I can say further is that it is an essential experience to all. Thank you Lilian and Allan for being our home away from home. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, we'll be back! xxx

Beach Break B&B is by far the best bed and breakfast that we ever stayed in. Lillian and Allen are the most friendly hosts. Breakfast was served to perfection. Definitely visiting there again soon.

Exceptional service and food, great location, friendly and helpful hosts and an overall amazing 2 day experience!! Alan and Lilian went out of their way to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. Her food is absolutely delicious and a feast for the eyes too!! They went out of their way to assist with our dietary needs. We will definitely be back.
