Janet !!! C'est une très belle personne !! Vraiment. Elle nous a accueillis comme si nous étions sa famille et était à nos petits soins ainsi que Saen. Merci à eux deux pour leurs conseils et pour leur hospitalité. De plus l'endroit est magnifique.

Janet was the perfect hostess - flexible and friendly. And the breakfast with homemade bread, jam and freshly made fruit salad was delicious (we could have had cooked breakfast, but we chose not to).

The place is in a beautiful location and the gardens are lovely. The hosts are very friendly and happy to provide information and guidence on local activities.

Lieu on ne peut plus paisible. Janet a été super accueillante et flexible. Elle nous a préparé un repas malgré notre arrivée tardive. Elle a également été de bons conseils pour des activités à faire dans les environs. L’endroit est juste incroyable, les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. La cuisine est délicieuse et faite maison de A à Z.

Seul regret : n’y être resté qu'une seule nuit... nous reviendrons !

Warm, generous hosts - Janet and Sean shared their love of the Kamberg Valley with great suggestions for hikes, home-cooked meals, and clean and spacious guest facilities.

We visited in the winter - nothing to be done about the weather, but an additional space heater or two in the guest area would be helpful. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

This guesthouse is wonderful testament to its lovely owners. From the tranquil garden; the homemade bread, jam, biscuits and more; the delicious home cooked evening meals and breakfasts; the artful and creative interior; the kind conversation and a peaceful and homely atmosphere. We were here over Christmas and had such a wonderful time with them and other guests at their beautifully decorated table and a delicious spread of amazing food. Janet was also full of really helpful suggestions for things to do over the three days that we stayed. We particularly enjoyed: hiking to the Highmoor caves (stunning); chilling out with the cat in the delightful sitting room and watching the rain clouds over Giant’s Castle. Thank you so much Janet and Sean for everything and we hope to come back again one day.

Beautiful scenery nestled in mpofana road this is a hidden gem. It must be seen to be appreciated. The hosts Sean and Janet are very informative about best routes to the bnb aswell as great information on adventures that can be done nearby. The same day that we had made a booking not even a few hours later Janet reached out to inform us of best routes and suggestions on activities. The molweni bnb is very wel kept and has a very homey feeling. The reception and dining area is amazing and shows true south African culture during meal times it is candlelit and accompany some logely romantic music as well as lovely lighting outside. Very impressive. The lounge area has a cozy fire place. And is spacious with lovely cozy lounge. The view from the room are amazing lovely burg view. They have 5 room 3 with amazing berg view and 2 without. Also the beds are equipped with lovely electric blankets to keep you warm at night.They also have. Bar aswell.At the bottom of the property is the most beautiful dam which blossoms 🌸 such beautiful lotus flowers. We stayed for 2 nights and on the day that we left we were abit worried about the roads and Janet actually drove us into the town until we were good as I have a smaller car and was worried about muddy roads. Not to forget the meals . The bnb is catered and the meals provided by Janet are quality and are at great prices. Overall if you looking to explore drakensburg and you are local or international i would definitely recommend molweni bnb , they always strive to serve the best quality to their guests . Trust me you won't be disappointed.

The only thing I didn't like was the roads to get there as some are gravel and tar and some just plain sand but if you are going with a 4x4 you will be fine and if you are going with a small car please go extremely slow and be extra cautious. Also seek advice from the host on which is the best route to use based on weather conditions.
