"Dreadfull place to stay and the host (Karin) provided zero service. Dont stay here - rather look at other alternatives."

The shower was good

The room smelt of damp. No door on the bedroom and very thin curtains in the lounge that did not close properly. Quilt on bed was filthy and falling apart. No tea and coffee provided in the room and no soap / shampoo provided. Television did not work. Plugs did not work so I could not charge my phone, use kettle or microwave. In the morning the fridge had defrosted and there was a large puddle of water on the floor. To be clear, there was no loadshedding! Overall my stay was dismal - I will not be back and I will not recommend this dump to anyone. At 8pm I tried to call and whatsapp Karin on the cell number she provided, but she did not bother answering the call or message at the time. She did answer the whatsapp at 7:20 am the next morning , by which time I had already left and was on my way home.

Everything was spectacular. The bungalow was well equipped and very comfortable. The self check in was a plus. The pool area was lovely. Will definitely be going back soon. Generator was definitely great considering the constant loadshedding.

Didn't have complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, was a bummer. The driveway was quite steep, needed a bit of height clearance. We had our 4x4 but the towbar did touch at the bottom of the driveway but with a bit of maneuvering, we were fine.

The parking is limited... the place isn't kids friendly because of the pool...

We do travel a lot and stayed in many great places before, but nothing comes close to the level of comfort this accommodation offers. If I could give this place 20 stars I would. It's just very well thought through and the attention to details (and what travellers might need) is on another level. Thank you! 😊
