The location is very nice, quiet and relaxing. Not far from town centre. The greenery was refreshing and calming. I wouldn't mind going there again.

Only the sound from the upper room, but it was not that bad.

"Very nice stay in lovely surroundings"

It was a beautiful setting with a lush garden you could walk in and experience a bit of nature. Our host was very nice and made us feel welcome. Breakfast is extra (R100.00 pp) but was not available for us as the hostā€™s wife was away on conference. There are two friendly resident outside dogs, one of which barks at duikers (little buck) and the other at humans. We did hear them barking once but it did not disturb us. The house itself has an interesting history. Goes back to the Anglo-Boer War. It would be nice to have this information within the room. Would have loved to have known more about the property and its surrounds.

The bathroom is a tad small and sound proofing between us and the room above is lacking. We could hear people moving around and using the bathroom
