"Superb apartment with stunning views, in a great location of Rab, with wonderful hosts"

An absolutely fantastic apartment, large, light, very clean, great facilities, great balcony with stunning views. Great idea to have extra towels available in a cupboard in the stairway / hall area that you could help yourself to and a laundry basket in the same area to put used towels. A great location with a 10 to 15 minute walk into the old town, depending on which way you go, and a short walk to two supermarkets, and the nearest beach. Very friendly people, Sasha met us and showed us the apartment and gave us some good local information, local beach, how to get to the old town, etc etc. We were there on Monday 19th September which was the state funeral of our Queen Elizabeth 11, at around 10am that morning we were in the apartment with the funeral on tv, when there was a knock on the apartment door, it was Lucija with food and drinks and saying a little home comfort on your nations sad day, she didn't have to do this, and it was a heartfelt gesture that was gratefully received and will never be forgotten by ourselves. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Rab. One note of caution it is probably not in a suitable location for people with walking difficulties.

The apartment was big and really clean, beautiful view of the city center Rab, the sea and other islands.

What really bothered us was that on the very last day when we were leaving the owner suddenly told us we have to pay 30 euros for 'cleaning fee', which was not mentioned anywhere before. We did not have much cash left and we ended up giving the owner all the money that we still had. Before that everything was fine, but this incident really left a big mark on our very last day there.
