"Loved this BnB in the countryside!"

We loved this beautiful historic property (it used to be a ferryman’s house). It was right on the edge of the small town of Alem with parking across the street. We had a 2 bedroom apartment upstairs which was comfortable and lovely. We walked across the street to the harbour for dinner at a quaint little restaurant. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was excellent!

It is situated in a magical wee village ..which suited us on our cycle trip However there is only one option if you want to walk for dinner ..good news is it’s a good one

Amazing find! Beautiful old property, lovely owners. Room 6 we stayed in has actually two separate bedrooms, so ideal for a family with children.

You need a car, as there’s nothing to do in the village itself
