Rumah Diyah

Rumah Diyah never fails to impress! The rooms are so well done with everything you need, the bed is very comfy, and the patio is great for having your breakfast in the morning. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, just off the main road but the rooms are very quiet and peaceful despite that. I love what they've done with the upstairs, with the rooftop sunset sitting area, it's very cute. Could not recommend this place more.

The rooms are exceptional - they were built and decorated with great care by the hosts - you can see this in every little detail. The bathroom is great, Wi-fi is fast, bed is large and comfortable and your own little private terrace is an absolute blessing. Breakfast is very tasty / try the banana pancakes - you'll love them! The hosts were amazing - they awaited me with fresh juice and coffee after my long drive to Amed, looked after all my needs and we had long friendly chats every day. I'm sure to return to them every time I'm in Amed!

The breakfast was excellent served directly to your own private patio, good tea and coffee making facilities in the room too and a fridge to keep your (free) water in to keep cool. The rooms are very large and the bed has high quality linen on it, with the aircon on it was probably the best sleep we have had so far in Indonesia. It's a very short walk to the restaurants and there are some good ones nearby. Snorkeling is good just off the beach near Rumah Diyah but even better a short walk to Jemuluk Bay. There are two wrecks that can be snorkelled nearby (each about 20-30m offshore) both impressive and teeming with sea life. Ask Wayan the owner for details he is very friendly and can organise scooter rental for you.
