Vila Laura is a beautiful property, very well-maintained and in a quiet location, yet only a short walk to reach Lake Bled. Ziga is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. He goes out of his way to ensure you have a good stay. The extremely extensive breakfast buffet is prepared by his mum, Vlasta, who is lovely also. She makes the omelettes or scrambled eggs to order and ensures there is plenty of food options. Our room was very nice with a modern bathroom and excellent shower. We especially liked the fluffy towels and quality bed linen. There's plenty of safe parking which was good as we had a hire car, and public parking at Lake Bled is unbelievably expensive - more than we paid in central London last month!

Vila Laura is a beautiful house, the room is comfortable and nicely decorated. Žiga is a really nice guy and was very helpful sending us links to restaurants and suggestions. It's very quiet and close to Bled town. Breakfast omelettes were delicious. We loved our time in Slovenia!

Vila Laura sits in am ideal location; close to the lake (within walking distance) yet away from the largish hotels. It has only has a few rooms available which makes it quiet and pleasant. I drove to the location and was happy that the location had enough parking space for guests with cars. The vila is rustic and warm. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. There is a large and well kept garden surrounding the vila with amazing views of the forest. But what stands out most at Vila Laura are the hosts! Ziga and his mother are amazing! Very nice and extremely helpful - Ziga went out of his way to suggest the best locations to visit and when to visit, giving us a list of the best restaurants in the area and was also very helpful with info when we happened to run into some issues with our booking at Vintgar Gorge. His mother was serving us the best breakfast to start the day. Simply great hosts! Would highly recommend if you want a warm and welcoming feel for your stay.

Ontbijt was goed. Ons vertrek was eerder dan de tijd van het ontbijt. Maat we kregen een uitgebreid lunchpakket mee. Er stond ook iedere dag fruit klaar smiddags.
