We arrived at the property just before 5 after riding bicycles in rain and mud for an entire day. The hostess communicated that she only worked until 5pm. Not do you need anything else The property is advertised as a bed and breakfast. When we inquired we were told to check with the restaurant next door. They said no breakfast was available. No problem we went elsewhere. The next morning we wanted to leave early and communicated that we would like breakfast at 8am. She said okay. Called to confirm it was possible for the restaurant. When we arrived at 8 no breakfast there and staff said they were told 9 am. We said we could not wait. Somehow the host indicated it was our fault. Made an excuse of some sort. Fine all smiles. Then she accuses us of being terrible guests because of a dispute about towels and says “ not to mention breakfast “. I have never been so insulted and berated by a hotel in my entire life. Then she holds our luggage from our transporter and tells him we are terrible guests. She demands 100 to release the luggage saying the towels have to be thrown out! Absurd at the least. Criminal in its action.Besides ruining a perfectly good day she ruined our relationship with our transporter. Brought him into the room and showed him all the towels from two rooms piled in a mess with the two towels that did get dirty and said we used term to clean our bikes which she had locked up in a back room and we hadn’t touched since we had checked in. i kindly request a refund for the awful experience and that you don’t let them sell rooms on booking.com ever again.

The en-suite room was spacious and luxurious. The bed was large and very comfortable. The only restaurant in town was downstairs, which was very convenient and several cafes were nearby. The room was at the back of the building and very quiet, with beautiful long views over the countryside. There was storage for our bikes and we received a friendly welcome, with the option of breakfast the next morning.

The directions could be clearer, e.g. by referring to the restaurant downstairs and mentioning that the name Bella and Stella doesn't appear on any signs.

The room was wonderful. It was spacious and had a view of the vineyards. We opened the glass doors to take in the breeze. The host was outstanding - a local with a vineyard and winery.
