the roads to the apt. are steep and narrow…could be difficult for unexperienced drivers.

You really need a car if you stay there. But good thing - there is a private parking.

The communication from the owners before our arrival was first-class. The location was out of the centre of Como, with lovely views from the balcony across the valley. Our host Matteo was welcoming, and showed us our room. The room had an ensuite bathroom with bath (very welcome after many places with only showers!) and also a shower. There was also a pleasant common area, which we had to ourselves as the only guests. This was where breakfast was served. The breakfast was lovely and had some delicious home-made items such as the bread. At the end of our stay, we were going to catch the local train to the centre, but Matteo offered to drive us into the Centre, and would not take any money for doing so. We were impressed. Overall, we thought B&B Sari was excellent value for money.

The accommodation is out of the centre, and is up a hill, so you have to make an effort to get there. However, the effort is worthwhile, as you will be staying as a welcome house-guest - not in some anonymous city hotel.

Everything was perfect, the breakfast was amazing. Beutiful view. Recommend.
