Cable Island Bed and Breakfast

We enjoyed our stay in Cable island. Valerie is a lovely and welcoming host. We equally enjoyed the magnificent view from the property and delicious breakfast.

The hotel was in a picturesque location but close enough to Cork that we were easily able to get to the city. The owners were wonderully hospitable and the breakfast was fantastic. Take a picnic with you and you can spend a good while just walking along the river.

Our only downside was that we had a shared bathroom with one other room.

The staff were wonderful and kind. The scenery was gorgeous. The food is delicious. I felt safe. This stay helped to make our travels successful.

There were cobwebs in the restroom. The pillows were flat, not fluffy. The decor was stuffy and needs to be updated.

Die Gastgeberin hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und uns auch einen kleinen Spaziergang empfohlen, wir konnten Lachse im Fluss springen sehen.

Leider hatte das Zimmer einen ziemlich muffigen Geruch der nicht rausging. Das Bad musste sich mit einem anderen Zimmer geteilt werden, war okay aber da ist man hald immer ein bisschen auf Andere angewiesen.

The Location was really beautiful, loved the opportunity it’s for the walk along the river. Places to sit by the river

Sharing a bathroom. Rooms are comfortable but bedding is a little dated but just acceptable. Liked the size of the rooms but could benefit from some places to hang up clothes for those staying a few days.

Very remote and peaceful location. Lovely hosts and great breakfast.

Our room was small, and it shared the bathroom with other geusts. Other than that, it really is lovely and comes recommended.
