Please note Pre-authorization is 4 days prior to arrival date, instead of two days. Kindly note that only 2 out of 12 rooms are located on the ground floor. The other 10 rooms are accessible via stairs only. Therefore the accommodations may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. To request a ground floor room, please contact the property prior to arrival. American Express cards are not accepted. Free parking is available. Please note that this is a nonsmoking property and any violation will result in a 100 EUR fine. Directions: The property is located on a corner between Donovan Road and Western Road. When leaving from a city center (coming from a Washington Street) on your left side you will be passing by The River Lee Hotel. Shandon Bells Guest House is located just a couple of houses after the hotel, on the first set of traffic lights on the left side of the road. Changing the type of room from twin to double or from double to twin upon arrival is subject to availability and not possible if the property is fully booked for the date. Please note that the property requires photo ID: a passport, an ID card or a driving license. Guests who made their reservation later than 15 hours before check-in leave a 200 euro deposit against damage.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "Zeer teleurstellend."

Het ligt op redelijke loopafstand van het centrum. Parkeren kan op eigen terrein. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd door vriendelijk personeel.

Super kleine kamer met een heel smal bed. In maar een klein gedeelte van de kamer kon je rechtop staan. Staand douchen ging niet (1,86 m). Op de kamer kan je precies ruiken wat er in de keuken wordt bereid. En de ontbijtruimte stond af en toe blauw van de rook uit de keuken. De kamer was op de tweede verdieping. Je moet er niet aan denken als er ergens daaronder brand zou uitbreken. Er was namelijk maar één weg naar beneden. Kansloos dus…. We zouden hier twee nachten blijven maar besloten na de eerste nacht het daarbij te laten. Dan maar zonde van het geld maar om hier nog een nacht te blijven? Nee, echt niet.

"Nice little hotel for a quick stay."

It was in a great location and the staff were amazing. Had free parking.

The room was tiny. We were in the top of the building and the roof was slanted. I'm not tall but o kept hitting my head. No elevator so ask for a ground floor if you cant lug a heavy suitcase up the narrow stairs.

Situation proche du centre, parking gratuit, très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner en supplément mais très varié.

Chambres très mal insonorisée, tant pour les bruits intérieur que ceux extérieur. Literie très inconfortable. Salle de bain très petite.

"Adorabile soluzione!"

Posizione ottima per visitare Cork, in 6/7 minuti a piedi si è in centro.. parcheggio gratuito, anzi, ci hanno permesso di lasciare lì l'auto dopo il check out ( x un paio d' ore) per l' ultima passeggiata a Cork! Noi avevamo una stanza all' ultimo piano, MERAVIGLIOSA! Ambienti molto puliti, colazione ottima con vasta scelta e personale molto disponibile e gentile!

Non è presente un ascensore, per noi non è stato un problema, ma se si hanno molti bagagli potrebbe essere poco comodo..
