The family were so so lovely and the son who spoke more English was able to help me with his times. Breakfast was huge and delicious!

A little bit out the way and a main road to get to the main area so can’t walk at night but easy and cheap enough to take a tuktuk.

A glorious stay at Cool Breeze, located in an oasis a little distance from the busy mainstream of Ella. The bed was the biggest bed I've ever slept on. The breakfast was a delicious traditional Sri Lankan feast, organised for me at whatever time suited me best! Of course with a big pot of tea. And the views from the room, from the terrace where breakfast is served, is of the gorgeous palm trees where monkeys jump between branches, behind the trees you can see the gorgeous Ella Rock and waterfall. Thank you for a stunning stay, I wish I had stayed longer! 🍃🫖🍳

Bear in mind this is located 15 minutes walk from mainstreet which for most will only be a bonus but just something to consider.

Amazing breakfast, lovely family

Best bed we had this holiday. We stayed in the bigger room. The family is so friendly and we loved their homecooked dinner and breakfasts.
