La Montagna

The view from our bedroom balcony where breakfast was served every morning was absolutely incredible! This is a lovely family run hotel. They were really welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great and varied everyday.

Even though it’s a little bit of a walk uphill from the town it’s far enough away from the traffic to make it nice and peaceful.

This was the best stay I had in Srilanka..the hosts are such good and warm people..and the room! Oh My God....it had the best view and so spacious and beautiful. But the sweetest thing were the hosts who always have a smiling face and I had a small fall which the uncle the noticed and without even asking he boug6me an ointment for the pain. This is the best place to stay if you want a homely experience along with facilities in Ella.

Great spot, out of the hustle and bustle of Ella but only 5 minutes by tuk tuk and within walking distance of good cafes and restaurants. We had beautiful views from our balcony. The breakfast was great.

The mattress on our bed needs replacing, there was a big dip in front of the pillows where our upper bodies lay, it wasn’t comfortable.

Le petit déjeuner est servi à la porte de chaque chambre dans un espace comun ; c'est super comme idée sauf quand des voyageurs indélicats se levent tôt et empêchent les autres de dormir !

Boede i familieværelse i 4 dage med skøn udsigt over området 😀 Fint stort badeværelse og generelt pæn stand (fin vandtryk og varmt vand) Værelset har ikke aircondition, hvilket heller ikke var nødvendigt. Wifi virkede fint. Vi gjorde brug af landry service og fik tøjet tilbage samme dag 👍 God stor morgenmad, som varierede fra dag til dag. Selve byen ligger i fin gåafstand , ned af bakke. Turen retur (op ad bakke) kan gøres billigt i tuktuk. Værten var ekstremt sød og hjælpsom, og vi vil klart anbefale stedet.

Have never stayed anywhere before which such amazing views from room, just incredible. Highly recommend staying here. Overall great location and value.
