Dream view

The owner is very helpful and humble. The scenery from the place is amazing. Hot shower, amenities, breakfast,etc..

Location: Incredible view with privacy, yet a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops. Exceptional Internet/WIFI: My speed test clocked it at 80-90MBS. You can easily stream or take a video call while watching monkeys play in the trees. Breakfast: Delicious spreads with variations each day and enough to save items for lunch. Host: Very kind and helpful for explaining the hikes and other sites in the area. We loved this place so much that we extended our stay. No negative surprises or downsides.

Our host was really lovely and helped us carry our bags up and down the steps to the room. He also put a lot of effort into breakfast every morning. The view was incredible, both Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. Eating breakfast on the patio with such a great view was a bonus. The room itself is very basic and although clean, does look worn and tired. The shower was always warm or hot but the wet room remains wet for quite a while. Watch out for the leaches! The steps down to the room are surrounded by greenery and we both found little travellers attached to us on various occasions. The room is within easy walking distance to the main streets of Ella, about ten minutes. It’s quite hilly and can be a bit slippy when wet. It’s also not very well lit so we used the torch on our phones but you could just get a Tuk Tuk.

The room was very basic and a bit tired which made it seem kind of grubby even though it was clean. The wet room takes a long time to dry and there are lots of leeches around but this can’t be helped given the area and is the price you pay to be surrounded by nature with such a beautiful view! If you would freak out to find a leach on you, this might not be the place for you.

Tucked away in the nature, surrounded by beautiful flowers and scenic views, you’ll find this dreamy place. Wish I could go again to have the delicious breakfast there on the terrace. The hosts are the kindest people. You’ll feel at home.

Amazing location, with an uninterrupted ‘dream view’ of Ella’s Rock, Little Adam’s Peak and the whole valley. Very peaceful and quiet, but less than 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Ella. Lovely accommodation and fantastic host. Danuka was very helpful and always available. Organised laundry, provided great breakfast and lots of Sri Lankan tea.
