Dream view

This place is a true gem. I cannot begin the emphasis how serene and breath taking the view is. It's better than the pictures. The place is literally the last place before the valley overlooking Ella Rock which looks like in touching distance. The location is facing the rising morning sun and is therefore shielded from the afternoon sun so therefore it's nice and cool on veranda. It's also within walking distance to town and the wildlife is amazing. There is a whole gang of monkeys that sleep on the huge pine trees right in front on the place and scamper away up hill during the day and returns back to sleep there early evening. It was immensely enjoyable watching the families of monkeys cuddling on the pines and I kept fruit from breakfast to feed them. Whilst cautious the monkeys will come very close to you if you feed them. I also spotted a woodpecker right outside the room. The owner's (who lives nearby) dog might also come hang out with you if you show interest in the dog. At points when I returned back from Ella town, it's attractions or walks, I felt the view from the stay was the major attraction. It's truly a dream view. The owner is a lovely and helpful man too. Don't miss out on this spot.

Very quiet location with a beautiful view, short distance to Ella centre and a helpful host. The breakfast was more than enough and really tasty.

Wonderful views in your own little house with nobody else around. Amazing and big breakfast and tea included. Very clean, mosquito nets and fridge in the room. Owner is really friendly and always available if you need something (he also drives a tuktuk and can take you around). Really recommend if you look for something quit and peaceful.

The view is indeed a dream! The apartment was very clean and less than a 10 minutes walk from the main street. The included sri lankan breakfast is very delicious and the owner is super friendly and even took us his with his tuk tuk to the train station. We would definitely come back here!!

I found this real jem in Ella, and I can tell that is an incredible & unique piece of paradise. The place is super_nice and cosy, plunged in the fairy tale nature environment. This is much more than an accommodation, I would call it an authentic "posto dell'Anima" (Soul's Place) Overlooking the valley from the patio you feel immediately and continously immersed in a profound sense of peace and the silence here is somewhat healing. The owner, Dhanuka, is always very nice and helpful. Watching the monkeys playing on the trees while having a breakfast of great quality was simply a superb experience. Surely the most romantic place I've ever enjoyed my days and nights in Asia.

This spot is an absolute gem! A single unit with a stunning view, I loved everything about it. Beds were comfy, water was hot, I loved having a fridge and tea kettle, and the breakfast was massive with fruit, eggs, tea, and always some version of roti with butter and jam- a feast! It was just a few minutes walk to town but was very quiet and you felt like you had the whole hillside to yourself. I ended up extending my stay and would highly recommend to anyone!

The wifi was excellent! And the view was stunnig! We were very happy with our stay we wanted to extend it but sadly it was booked! So he helped us find a place next door.
