Hillcrest Ella

Excelent views, Good value for money, Helpful manager and staff. Breakfast was good. Very large rooms

As with most places in Ella, Have to drive in a steep narrow incline to get to the hotel, can be tricky if weather is wet.

It was a horrific experience overall. One of the staff members in the middle of the night tried to get into our room in drunken condition from the rear balcony door, don’t know what his intentions were. My young daughter was horrified. There was no one to attend to us at that time of the night, I had to call the manager, who came and tried to pacify us. Don’t know what action the management took against this rouge staff member. It was a horrifying experience.

Очень грязно в комнатах, везде пыльно, сантехника черная с белым известковым налетом. В комнате был огромный таракан, после предыдущих жильцов осталась пустая бутылка из-под колы, в ванной комнате кусок использованного мыла. Чтобы добраться до отеля нужно в начале заехать на гору, потом очень узкий опасный спуск вниз. На завтраке тоже всё скудно и грязновато. Под балконом огромный козырек нижнего этажа.

The best view! Nice hotel, rooms are spacious. Hot water! Great blankets (after hostels sheets it’s a wow bonus!) we slept great. The staff was very welcoming.

Немного потрепанный вид, требует небольшого косметического ремонта. Дверь в комнату - со сломанной ручкой. Но в целом не повлияло на впечатления.

The view is exceptional!! And the staff so friendly and helpful. They didn’t just help us be comfortable in our stay but also helped us by suggesting where we can go in sri lanka and what places would be good to stay at. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay in Ella ☺️

We booked a room at Hillcrest Ella expecting a stunning view and a comfortable room. The view was stunning, but it was ruined by the construction work that they were doing in the lobby area. The workers were working right outside the lobby, which kind of ruined the experience. Since it was a bit cold, they could have provided sandals inside the room. :( :(

Very clean friendly staff and beautiful view from rooms.
