Alone Cage Ella

The property is really cheap compared to other places. The people taking care of it was really nice, help you to get tips and activities (Scooter, massages…). We had a big bed and a big bedroom

The bathroom has no ventilation at all, so you smell the humidity

We loved our stay at the bungalow Alone Cage, it is situated at a very calm and quiet place and even has a nice little terrasse and a hammock. Upon arriving we got delicious coconuts and Waruna could help us with everything like recommending good restaurants, scooter rental and aranging a privat transport to Udawalawe including a stop at the Diyaluma waterfall, which was great. Waruna even brought us a delicious breakfast-package for our journey with coconut-roti, coconut-sambal and sweet coconut-pancakes.

It would be good to have an openable window in the bathroom to let the humidity out.

price and service were great. They were very helpful, we could leave our stuf there after checking out so that we could do more activity’s.

there were ants walking on our bed and under the pillows. There are a lot of insects outside, you have to be carefull with opening your door. a lot of big insects will fly in.

Cosy, spacious, green, friendly hosts, good location for if you want to visit the bridge & little Adam's peak

The people here have a wonderful cozy place. Every little thing placed in here itis just the necessary placed with modesty and all in super good shape like new. The painting is perfect. You can see these people are detailed oriented. The room is exceptionally bright, which we appreciate a lot. They received us with a coconut. What a surprise treat. we got a little misunderstanding, and they solved like the best haven't seen such customer service skills in a while. overall they exceed my expectations. anything you need they are one message away. super available to the guest's needs. (also be aware there is no view to the hills or the mountains, but within 5 minutes walk or at lest you can have it all. if you are looking for the view of the ella rock is not the place)

Spacious room with a really nice garden! Amazing value for money!

Some smaller things: there's no ventilation in the bathroom so it stays wet and humid all the time. There were some stains on the bedsheets.

Awesome place to stay, clean and fresh with all the facilities you need. The location is near to shops, cafés and close to Little Adams Peak and 9 Arch Bridge. The host is super welcome and helpful! Thank you very much. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful location of spacious and extremely clean room. Very stable and fast WiFi. We felt at home, not only because the room has all the necessary facilities (like fridge and water boiler), but we have been hosted with open-heart by the owners. Really cute place, perfect for the couple. We have even been invited for the breakfast for the New Year!:)) 10 minutes walk from Ella centre- Cannot Praise More-One of the best stays we have got in SriLanka.

lovely room, very clean and a perfect location just a short walk from the center. owners are very happy to help with anything including laundry and taxi services. There’s hot water, a fridge, tea and coffee and fast wi-fi. we had a lovely three night stay, would definitely recommend!
