Les Bains de Fez Tara

Great location very close to the medina and major sites of Fes, the patio and terrace was relaxing and the breakfast was delicious.

There was a musky smell in the room due to a lack of ventilation, food was good but the dinner menu was expensive per person and wasn't clearly communicated to us.

Nous avons adoré ce Riad, très bon accueil, très agréable et joli Repas succulent et super petit dejeuné, Fatiha était à nos soins et les massages sont tops je recommande vivement, literie confortable et chambres superbes

El Riad es precioso, en verano tiene que ser una maravilla. La habitación era muy espaciosa (era para 4 y éramos dos, así que teníamos un saloncito). Bien acondicionada para el frío. El personal muy amable y atento.

Nuestra habitación estaba en la terraza y el último tramo de escaleras era un poco incómodo para subir /bajar cargados con el equipaje. La ubicación es cómoda para llegar en coche y dejarlo en un parking cercano pero es un poco complicado llegar al Riad, especialmente desde la medina. Habríamos agradecido algún cartel más o indicaciones del personal, al final vimos que siguiendo las indicaciones del Palais Fez Yahya llegábamos al nuestro.

Une équipe exceptionnelle avec toujours de petites attentions . Des chambres tres belles , un petit déjeuner tres frais et complet .

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The traditional Moroccan decor was also lovely and the whole experience was very different from a large hotel chain.(Which was what we were looking for). The effort to provide some Christmas decoration was also appreciated as was the lovely log fire in the dining room and made us feel at home.The menu was limited but the food was excellent as was the service at both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately due to the cold and wet winter weather we could not use the small outside courtyard/dining area with it's small pool, palm and orange trees which on a warm summer night would have been delightful.

The location was not ideal in terms of the requirement to walk up and down steep and narrow alleys from the nearest point that taxis could access and would have been almost impossible to find without assistance. This also meant that Google Maps was of no help due to the lack of a reliable signal because of the narrow and dark alleys. Also, the steps from the entrance to our room and the dining room were extremely steep and definitely a challenge for older people with mobility issues. This also applied to the toilet/ shower facilities in our room which were located in a basement area below the room accessed via a very steep staircase with no handrail. Again a bit of a challenge.
