"A fabulous hideaway base from which to explore Nice"

Our host could not have been more welcoming with local info, a map, bus details and places of interest to visit. This little gem is off the beaten track, but so worth the hill climb to find

Other than the hill (which actually kept us from turning into blimps from all the delicious pastries!) there was nothing to fault.

The stay at Alberto's Castel Enchanté was indeed enchanting: a beautiful house, with many nice corners to relax, especially also by the pool, an exceptional and rich breakfast and a great host - relaxed, flexible, and extremely helpful and nice. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

"Beautiful, authentic French property with lovely host"

The host is absolutely incredible. He is so personable and makes the BEST breakfast every day, truly the highlight of our time in Nice. The room had great AC, amenities and it was a beautiful lovely property.

The property is located in the hills which makes it difficult to use public transport and Ubers often get confused finding the place. Make sure you are prepared to use Uber getting places and give each driver instructions.

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, it is up the hill but only 35/40 min from the beach/ town centre. We walked but there is a bus stop very close by as well. The owner Alberto was very attentive and kind. He even told us about the surroundings and the nice places we could visit. The breakfasts were amazing! Every morning, apart from the generous basket of pastries, we got to taste a specialty from the region. The cleaning ladies were very kind too. ALSO the AC was a big plus!! In all, everything was perfect and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything!
