Caroline was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless, and I loved having tea/ coffee making facilities and snacks in the room, which was a lovely touch.

The location at the top of the hill is a bit hard to find the first time, but good directions were given which helped.

I stayed in the single room and it was clean and comfy. The bathroom was right across the hall and was spotless. While it advertises as having no breakfast, there is a wonderful continental breakfast in the room, including cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, and some snacks. It was much appreciated. The view from Pulpit Rock it was amazing. It’s a short walk up the hill. I went up there for the sunset and it was gorgeous. The property is on a hill so it is about a 10 minute walk down to town but I would guess maybe a half hour walk back up. I was glad to have a car. It was very convenient to the ferry.

Host prepared a breakfast basket and some cold drink in the little fridge for us. Also, a kettle with coffee, tea, sugar etc. was available in the room.

Parking was a bit far if you have heavy luggage but the parking place was at a viewing point from where there is an incredible view over the city and port.

It was comfortable and well-equipped, in a beautiful location near a viewpoint. There was also a complimentary breakfast even though this wasn't advertised.
