"A very pleasant stay in lush surroundings."

Views of the hills and tea plantation. Sitting round the fire in the evening. Complimentary tea and coffee always available.

Slightly confused communication because of the absence of the owner but she did ring us.

The view over the tea plantations was nice and the room had a good size. The bonfire is a very nice complimentary offer and I recommend to continue with this.

The cleanliness of the room could be better and the food reliability and timing could be improved. For example if you booked a taxi or toy train, you might get in a hurry. Also consider that you'll be charged 2,5% extra if you have an international credit card.

Local staff was good and somewhat view. Rest nothing.

In breakfast, there is hardly any option.We were at the mercy of the hotel.Just forget about other meals option like lunch and dinner. Infact, it should not be treated as hotel. Lot of disturbance due to stray cats(3-4 numbers). They were roaming around in dining area( It's open space). No enclosed dining area available. Only 4 rooms are there at site. Therefore, everything is provided considering limited number of guests. (Max.8) Local staff is not authorised to take your request. All has to be done only through telephone with the manager located in Bangalore.

"The Best Place To Stay in Ooty"

Impeccable service, providing everything you think you need and more. Beautiful surroundings accompanied both stunning views. And many little perks, such as the firepit provided each evening. Has a great feeling of you being an individual, unlike the other large hotels. If you are going to Ooty, you would be crazy to not choose The Tamarillo.
