Dar Mar Hostel & Coworking

Dar Mar ist eine tolle Begegnungsstätte. Die Angestellten, sowie die Bewohner sind herzlich, lustig, offen und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es ist sauber. Das Frühstück ist lecker. Man kann zwischen 3 Optionen auswählen. Der Pool ist ein Extra und die Sandsäcke und die Hängematte laden ein, zum Verweilen.. Das Zimmer war simpel, aber für den Preis total in Ordnung. Obwohl Dar Mar an der Hauptstrasse liegt, konnte ich keinen Lärm hören. Das einzige, was laut war, war der Generator gleich neben dem Zimmer. Man muss aber in Zanzibar mir geplanten Stromausfällen rechnen, somit gehört das wohl auch dazu. Am letzte Tag war mein Flug sehr spät und ich musste erst um 17.00 Uhr abreisen. Ich durfte mein Zimmer ohne Aufpreis nutzen, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Nochmals danke.

Leider gab es während ich da war beim Nachbarsgrundstück Bauarbeiten, die die herrliche Ruhe durch den Tag störten. Als Entschädigung bekam ich eine Massage aufs Haus. Das fand ich wirklich aufmerksam. Im Zimmer wäre ein Wasserkicher ganz toll.

Breakfast was amazing, stayed 6 days, 6 days I had a different juice with breakfast. The place looks amazing and just oozes calm and relaxed vibes.

Internet kept on cutting out. At some point, I had no Internet for 2 days straight.

El wifi no llegaba a la habitación, faltaban elementos de baño y cama, zonas comunes con arena que no ayuda a mantener la limpieza en habitaciones, cuando hay cortes de luz como es habitual en la isla, solo se pone el generador en la zona comunes y central pero no en las habitaciones.

We had a double room which was lovely with a modern bathroom, and the complimentary breakfast was great. The staff were also very pleasant.

We booked Dar Mar for the work space mostly so it was frustrating that there were power cuts 3-4 times a day without a back up generator. This made work difficult as the WiFi would cut out multiple times a day. There was one day where there seemed to be a generator but it was used to power the main part of the hotel for a party so our room was still in darkness without any light or aircon.

Close to the main road, close to the beach, it was clean

The water pressure in the bathroom was way too low, couldn’t shower properly. There was no generator when power went off for hours. The wifi was only okay outside near the pool,inside the room it was too slow.

La struttura ha molto potenziale. Area comune bella e inclusiva. Bella vibe.

Staff scortese e non disponibile. Materassi durissimi. Doccia tiepida e con solo un filo di acqua uscente.
