Hostal Limoncocha

Everyone was very nice and accommodating at Hostal Limoncocha. We were able to leave our luggage there in between stays while traveling into the Amazon. The room was very clean and we had hot water in the shower and fans in the room. Great price.

Because it was fairly quiet time of travel, I was given a large room with two beds. There was a large fan that moved the humid air and provided cool breeze throughout the night. I might have had the best night sleep at this hostel. The breakfast was great!

The owner was a bit gruff. I often felt as if I was disturbing him and his family when I had a question. The reception area and kitchen are part of the owner's residence so it feels as if you are walking on egg shells when using the kitchen. I felt as if I was scolded when looking to get a cup of coffee. Also, the location is far away from the action of the small town and in a location that feels a bit unsafe as it is a very dark walk after the sunsets

Fantastic relaxed friendly helpful people. Super nice rooms and bathrooms. I really appreciate being able to safely leave my backpack here while I travel light in the Amazon. Hostel Limoncocha has looked after me every time!

Great hostel, comfortable beds, good location, fast Internet, friendly staff and clean facilities. Highly recommended hostel for your stay in Tena.
