TAMAN EDEN COTTAGE

Beautiful oasis near the rice terraces. Alain, his wife and all the staff are so helpful. The banana pancakes were amazing. The highlight was seeing the fireflies in the adjoining rice fields one night as we were swimming. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Well maintained and clean, owners are very friendly.

Absolutely amazing property. The rooms are big, clean, so tastefully decorated while preserving the local tradition. The bed is super confortable and the open air bathroom is spacious and has a lot of storage space. The owners are very kind and helpfull and the breakfast very tasty.

I loved that it was not crowded - and was so peaceful. The hosts were lovely and very friendly. The breakfast were beautiful. The room was amazing - loved the outdoor feel to the bathroom. I was attending 4 days of sessions at The Pyramids of Chi across the road - so location was perfect. However when i wanted to venture down to Ubud centre - I just walked down the track out the back of the property that lead down through the rice fields and to the centre. Very convenient. Lovely accommodation - would stay again.

I’m a light sleeper so did notice the scooters/motorbikes till later into the evening, as accomodation is right by a hill and corner. My pillow was firm - usually I prefer a soft pillow. This could easily be fixed by having a softer pillow option available and I should have used my earplugs for the scooters. This by no means would not stop me from staying here - it was a beautiful beautiful accomodation and I would be happy to stay here again if i returned to Ubud.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready with a smile or a local recommendation. Each morning’s breakfast was a treat in itself. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, calmness and heartfelt service, this little haven in Ubud is the perfect choice.
