Cantrip Cottage

Quiet country setting. Host was welcoming. Very fair price for accommodations and wonderful breakfast. Perfect for an overnight or short stay.

We had an excellent break at Cantrip Cottage, lovely, well equipped quiet room, good wifi, good location for exploring the Fife coast and neighbouring towns. Friendly and helpful host, lovely freshly cooked breakfast. We would stay again.

The room was spacious, well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was tailored to your personal requirements and freshly cooked in front of you. Got to make friends with the owner Gillie’s dog and loved being able to watch the birds on the bird table outside the dining room window while having breakfast. Gillie was an excellent hostess who went the extra mile to make sure you had a perfect stay.

There was nothing we didn’t like … everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Catrip Cottage. It was short, but Gillie, the host, made sure it was comfy. The room was a perfect size, very clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. The cottage is in a lovely, secluded place, and we hope to return again at some point in the future.

Gilly was so welcoming and very nice to talk to. She did everything to make my stay enjoyable. It's a lovely peaceful place. I would happily stay there again.

Everything was perfect

Wonderful cottage, in lovely quiet location not far from Cupar town. Easy check in, lovely room. Fabulous host. Yummy breakfast. A great wee find in Fife

Felt like a home from home. Host Gillie could not do enough for us.

Lovely room with coffee and tea making facilities. Bathroom cleaned each day and well heated. Freshly cooked breakfast that catered for all tastes, overlooking a lovely garden with lots of bird activity. Gillie, our host could not do enough for us , even offering us a lift to the local inn.
