Gîte Atlas Mazik

I loved this place! Amazing roof terrace with an outstanding view of the mountains. Very social atmosphere and good vibes with the other guests. Very friendly and nice employer Taib, always willing to help. Nice room and real hot water in the shower! Delicious and generous breakfast and dinner. Best place.

A bit small but cosy.

This is a super laid back, bargain guest house with pleasant rooms and a lovely terrace with stunning views. The food when it comes is tasty and plentiful. I was there in Feb so it was quite chilly but there were plenty of blankets and if you ask nicely they'll light the wooden heater in the dining room. The highlight is the stunning terrace. It's a friendly place - I met other travelers and we did some hikes together. Lots of great day walks you can do on your own. The place is actually in a small village overlooking Imlil. It's about a 20 min hike from the main road so be aware you may have to carry your bags some way.

Service is relaxed - which is to say meals may not turn up on time. But that also means there's no pressure to hire a guide or buy anything. As often the case - it's a little hard to find at first but easy once you know where it is.

Location location location ! Incredible backdrop of the Atlas mountains and nightsky. Incredible hospitality. Home cooked meals. Lovely people behind the desk. Cosy rooms, peaceful and restful residence.

The staff are friendly and the decor is pretty. Very good views. They offer dinner on site (but some said it was included in their fees and we were asked to pay separate so that was unclear) overall good value for the space. No heating but plenty of blankets

Communication was difficult with the staff. The bathrooms were not well cleaned and smelled strongly of urine, as well as constantly running out of toilet paper. The room did not have a way to lock without having your own padlock. The dinner being a separate charge was unclear, were asked to pay as we were checking out but the communication was tricky. I wish we had been told dinner was separate before ordering dinner.

The property was amazing, the view from the balcony was extraordinary, everything was clean and the decoration was on point, the food was very delicious and the prices are very good, the staff team was my favorite part hassan and tayeb are two extraordinary locals whom are generous and reliable
