The Sky Tents

We loved to be in a tent on the rooftop, the view of the hills around was wonderful, the chill breeze reached this lovely place at the top of a very steep uphill, far from the busy Kandy centre. The family who hosted us was just so kind and gentle, and the food was delicious. The place is a bit far out of the city centre, you can walk down to the lake in 30 minutes or just a tuktuk. We didn't mind actually but keep that in mind.

I would put an electric fan in the tent room, in case it gets too hot. (I was struggling to get a nap in the Arvo because of the heat.) And maybe a good couch in the roof top area to sit and relax.

It's a nice place with even better view. Delicious and big meals. They also have laundry service which is very comfortable. It's located close by the lake in Kandy. For additional fee the host may organize the city tour. I can sincerely recommend that place :)
