Banda Casa, Kandy

Great house Out of the city in quiet location which is perfect for me on my motorcycle , comfy clean rooms for a good nights sleep , but you have the house to sit in at your leisure. It has amazing views all day of the valley and perfect for watching the fruit bats at night but best of all is a great breakfast served by your wonderful host who is on hand all the time .

Lovely view from the balcony. Quiet location (nothing in walking distance). Friendly and helpful housekeeper. Clean bedsheets. Used PickMe app to get tuktuks easily to the supermarket/atm/kandy town.

Rooms were not properly cleaned. The undersides of our feet were black within seconds of walking in the house and the place was never cleaned or rubbish removed in the days we were there. I booked 3 double rooms but got 2 and a single, but they left a 4th room open for us which was a good gesture but we couldn't use it due to the configuration of our group. The toilet flush broke while we were there and wasn't fixed. The breakfast is simple and the same every day - eggs + toast, though the housekeeper made us a lovely simple local breakfast after I lobbied the owner considerably over the phone a couple of days in. No soap/shampoo - not a huge deal but this makes a big difference to a traveller. While it's true this place is inexpensive and expectations should be set accordingly, small things like cleanliness, soap, fruit cost little to make for a better experience.

This stay was a highlight of my trip. The view is memorizing, the rooms are comfortable, and the Hassan is the most accommodating. This is ideal for anyone looking to be immersed in nature but close enough to the buzz of the city. I'd highly recommend staying for at least two nights to fully soak up the tranquility and hospitality. I'll certainly be back!

The owner of the business provides all kinds of support on the phone. The business staff Hasan is a respectful person who says yes to everything... A place where you will be comfortable... The breakfast is not bad either.

Each round trip to the city by tuk-tuk costs 2 euros

Our room was comfortable and very clean. Everything had a good smell. For the apartment there was a big balcony with an amazing view. Hassan (our host) is the best person in the world. He was so kind, helpful and funny. He made breakfast and dinner for us and it was delicious. If we will visit Sri Lanka again, 100% we will come back here!:)

This place surprised me so much. The place is wonderful, incredible. The view is surreal, the house is huge, spacious and very clean. But what was most special here was Hassan, the host. He is so special, the nicest guy I have ever met in my life, a very special person. He leaves the house full of joy and peace. I would stay in this house many times when I return to Kandy.
