Selyna Sky Terrace

Bij aankomst werder we gelijk heel fijn door de host en haar hond ontvangen. We voelden ons gelijk welkom! We kregen bij aankomst gelijk allemaal tips voor waar we konden eten en hoe we het beste een wandelroute konden afleggen. Heel fijn want zo konden we snel kandy gaan verkennen. Verder ook echt een hele fijne ruime kamer met een super lekkere warme douche. Ik zou deze stay zeker aanraden!

We stayed for one night, arriving late afternoon on the train from Ella. Selyna was a wonderful host and very helpful to ensure we made the most of our time there. The property is in a tranquil location in the hills, so cooler and pleasant away from the city. Olly the dog was good fun and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. We would definitely recommend Selyna's place.

La stanza era spaziosa e pulita. Selyna è una perfetta padrona di casa e le sue colazioni sono uniche. La struttura si trova fuori Kandy e intorno non c'è quasi nulla raggiungibile a piedi, ma se si vuole stare fuori dal caos è perfetta!

Selena could not be more helpful. She organised a tuk tuk driver to give me a tour around Kandy. Ratna was a great guide even stopping at places not on the tour as he knew I took lots of photos. I definitely recommend him. The breakfasts were superb, delicious and Selena took my preferences into account. My room was comfortable, air conditioned, great hot shower and had plenty of space. There is a sitting room to relax. Selena always checked that I had everything I needed and kept me well supplied with water. The accommodation is up a steep hill. Tuk tuk drivers will charge around 600 from the lake's edge to go up the hill. They have no problem going up despite what they might say. I used Hotel Topaz to give them a ptoper direction. Going downhill is ok but some people may prefer tuk tuk down as there is no pavement. The view more tham makes up for the hill. It is definitely a wonderful view.

Selyna was een erg aardige gastvrouw en kon/wilde je overal mee helpen. Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten en bij ieder de ontbijt had ze een eigen typisch Sri Lankaans gerecht voor ons gemaakt wat erg lekker was. Verder was er een super lieve hond Ollie. Hotel ligt een beetje buiten het centrum, maar dit is helemaal niet erg gezien de drukte in de stad. Wandelen naar de stad was prima te doen en anders tuktuk.

Niets. Was echt een super fijn hotel met een mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras, waar tevens het ontbijt plaatsvindt.

Selyna is a charming lady who is very supportive. Room was clean, nice hot shower and breakfast with beautiful view. Dog was super friendly and always welcomed us as well.

Location is up in the hill, little hard to find tuk tuk at night time through app.

Selyna es una anfitriona excelente, se preocupa constantemente de que estés bien dando buenas recomendaciones de Kandy. Está a 15 min andando de Kandy pero en tuk tuk es 1 euro (o menos). Las vistas desde una habitación eran preciosas y el desayuna excelente y súper abundante con una vajilla preciosa.
