Palazzo Sbutega

Communication was great even before we arrived. Nigel was very helpful in giving advice on the best way to get to the Palazzo. Once we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful it was. We were staying in the pool house so walked through the garden every time we were coming and going, which was lovely. The trees and plants create natural shade, which was appreciated in the heat! The area by the bay was stunning and being able to jump straight into the Bay of Kotor and swim gave the most incredible view of the mountains. Nigel and Philip are wonderful hosts. The breakfast with homemade muesli, fresh fruit, homemade jams and great coffee was a bonus as was meeting other guests. We are already looking at when we can come again!

We absolutely adored our stay – amazing small feels-like-home hotel, really cozy atmosphere and incredibly welcoming hosts :) Nigel, Filip and Vedran we couldn’t have asked for more! See you soon again!

Amazing stay at Palazzo Sbutega! Philip and Nigel were super helpful and friendly, they helped us book many things and took great care of us. Highly recommended!

A car is needed to get around easily; the bus comes only every 30–40 minutes.

Really great host - Filip went above and beyond to provide whatever we needed. If reviews say otherwise, I’d suggest they are difficult, if not impossible, customers to please! The stay wasn’t “perfect”, but a good host overcomes any challenges.

Like most places in southern Europe, during extreme heat, it is challenging to keep up with air conditioning. (During our three day stay it was over 100 F every day.) So our room was warmer than we would have preferred, but a provided fan definitely helped.

Nous avons particulièrement aimé le lieu et l’accueil de Nigel ! Le calme, la beauté des lieux , le petit déjeuner sur une grande table partagée dans le jardin propice aux rencontres avec les autres hôtes , l’emplacement face à la baie permettant un bain matinal …. Un vrai moment de serenité!!!!

A phenomenal place to stay, Nigel is a fantastic host who has thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. He will book restaurants for you, park your car in the tricky spot he has reserved for guests, and always make sure you’re having a nice time. Phillip is also an amazing member of staff who prepares a beautiful breakfast each morning and makes a great coffee. We would love to come back again!

Our experience at Palazzo Sbutega could not have been better. Just 5km outside Kotor Prcnj is a perfect and authentic village to explore the bay. The Palazzo is wonderful, nicely decorated with much thought and style. Yet, the best are Nigel and Filip. Both are such warm and kind hosts, always giving you the feeling to be truly welcome. They provide such valuable advice to explore the area. I will definitely come back to Palazzo Sbutega when visiting the area.
