Casa Jardim Oasis

A great country home in a great quiet location with a large pool and wonderful hosts, what more could you ask for, everything was just perfect.

Great location, only 20 minute walk to the bus station and supermarket but still very peaceful. All the facilities you could need in the property. Loved the pool, it was really refreshing on the hot days. Helen and Paul the hosts were amazing too, really friendly and super helpful. Thanks!

Stunning country location, so peaceful and relaxing. Easy access to the centre. Owners are lovely. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Beautiful garden with relaxing hammocks.

Our hosts were gracious and responsive. The place is like a little bit of heaven. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun, and were happy to cook in the kitchen. Near many activities and good restaurants nearby. Great stay. Would come for a longer time next vacation.

It was a nice quiet place to stay. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast was good. Helen was a good host and was available if needed, otherwise she respected your privacy. Parking on site was a bonus.

Stayed here with my sister for 3 nights. The name doesn't lie: it is truly a oasis. We loved the swimming pool and the garden, the bedroom was super cozy and the breakfast amazing. When booking I warned I was lactose-intolerant and they provided plant/lactose-free alternatives for milk, yogurt and butter, very thoughtful. You get all-day access to tea, water, and coffee (and some shortbread my sister was obessed with) and you get some fridge space, so it's great if you want to have a snack or a quick meal at the guesthouse instead of going out. An honesty bar is also an option for a drink or some snacks. Helen and Paul, the hosts, are super nice and thoughtful. It's located to be near the main attractions and villages of the area, everything was like a 10-minute drive.

As an Italian I was missing a bidet, especially considering that due to old plumbing there's no throwing toilet paper in the wc. But it's really a minor nitpick and if I understood correctly some renovations to the plumbing is coming in the following months.
