Liked the balcony, refrigerator, rooftop breakfast environment, changed towels each day, good working hair blower, lovely, clean room.

Plumbing for toilet was an issue in our room no 3 both days we stayed however, Maria was attentive, communicative, and made sure it was fixed both times. We put do not disturb sign on our door and knew that they had to come in to fix the toilet. However, we left our pajamas on the bed and someone moved them to neaten up the bed and also left our sliding glass doors open for the balcony when we had already closed them and locked them. We would’ve appreciated not having our clothing touched or the bed remade, and we did not want the doors open and the windows open while we were out and unlocked. That was a little bit of a surprise. We appreciate that there was a breakfast included, but we do wish that there would’ve been many more plant-based options as we have different dietary preferences, which we had mentioned. Having breakfast set up earlier than 8 o’clock and ready to enjoy would have been very helpful as well.

Staff were great. Room was big. Nice terrace and breakfast included.

No parking for cars

From the time we arrived at this property the staff made sure that we had everything we could possibly need. Lilia was waiting to meet with us with a cool drink & to go through everything the town had to offer, including restaurant options which were great. The breakfast is just perfect upstairs on their beautiful rooftop. This area is also a great spot for an afternoon drink. The rooms are a great size, beautiful & clean. On our last morning we had to head off early before breakfast & Lilia put together a little bag with some goodies so we weren’t hungry. It’s the little things that make this guesthouse stand out in my eyes. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation & if we ever get back to Lagos we would look forward to returning here.

Location, the size of the room, terrace nice but very windy

I am usually very sceptical to “bad” comments, especially if it is one in hundreds good ones, but I didn’t understand the fuss about the place - for the price we paid (955 eur for 4 nights for 2 persons), we were expecting more quality and less feeling “bed and breakfast”. The room was very simple (good that it was big), the walls are thin and we could hear the noise of our neighbors (having a honeymoon). The breakfast - again, maybe I am too spoiled, but I didn’t find much variety. The hostess gives out the cheese in pieces (the usual packaged slices). The coffee is american in thermos (this kind of coffee I only drank when I was in very remote areas, on a random gas station, or in Safari places, etc). So, in general it was ok to stay, the location is indeed convenient for exploring Lagos (free public parking was a struggle to find though, despite the big parking areas, especially in the evening when everyone comes to Lagos for a dinner, so eventually we paid 50 eur for 4 days in a garage nearby). I really don’t like to leave not 100% positive feedbacks, but I also don’t like lying and pretending.

Wonderful people, helpful and did everything possible to make us feel welcome. Left with hugs for Lilya and Maria! Couldn't have been better.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, great rooftop dining area. The location is very convenient to Lagos' old city (inside the walls) and parking was surprisingly abundant even in August.

The city as a whole has a LOT of tourists in August. The property itself however feels quiet and removed from this.
