"Excellant place to stay when catching an early ferry to Scotland."

We chose this guesthouse as it was very close to the ferry terminal. Our ferry to Cairyan left at 8am and our host made us a cooked breakfast at 6:30. We also received an excellant recommendation for dinner.

The 1896 Victorian home faced the Harbour. It was a two minute walk to the passenger ferry. While a B&B, it had the coziness of home. The hostess was full business but kind and friendly.

Ha! I knocked my head on the shelf above the sink! It was an upper attic room with a slant roof and skylight. The last place did not have a shelf, and it was more awkward. I did not mind this very small inconvenience. It was cozy, warm, with lots of charm!
