Leigh Panorama B&B

The one night staying at Ross and Penny in Leigh was a wonderful experience! Their house is very welcoming and comfortable. Our bedroom had a view over their lovely garden! Actually we had the whole floor at our disposition! And not at last, I have to mention Penny and Ross! They are amazing people who took a great care of us! They gave us precious informations about what to visit, made good recommendations for restaurants and served us a delicious breakfast .

The breakfast was amazing - Ross & Penny put on a lovely spread for us and we were spoilt for choice. They were very accommodating for us with an early check in late check out which was greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the house was immaculately clean. It was a short walk to the beach and had easy off-street parking available.

Great views from all rooms. Plenty of privacy and a friendly couple of hosts Penny and Ross. Lovely breakfast and relaxing feeling. Even heard an owl hooting in the night.

The owners were so friendly and made us very welcome in their home. Breakfast was delicious. Room was very comfortable .

Ross and Penny were the most gracious and welcoming hosts I've ever had! They were so accommodating and friendly I felt so welcome! They went so far to make my stay as comfortable as possible, preparing breakfast, giving tons of local recommendations, and really worked with my plans for the day. They really do care about their guests, doing little things like offering a beach towel, a bottle of juice, and a later checkout just so I could shower after my beach day. By the end of it I felt like I was visiting family more than booking a stay! The location is also phenomenal, right by Leigh's eats for fish and chips and just a few minutes by car from goat island. They also have a great deck to relax and watch the sunset/rise and star gaze from! Pros: Great hosts Clean rooms Clean facilities Plenty of parking Great location Nice deck

The only cons I could see are: Bring cash: they do not accept card payments as of my stay. If you want ac in your bedroom there is none, but there is a fan. I believe there is an ac unit in the living room, it's just not inside the actual bedroom. I personally had no problem with either of these but just be aware!

Very handy to go snorkelling near Goat Island. Penny was very kind and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Lots of rooms to use , plenty of breakfast.There was lots to do in the area which unfortunately we didn’t have time for.

Lovely hosts-very welcoming and helpful. Wonderful breakfast-Would definately recommend as a place to stay in Leigh.

Penny and Ross were great hosts. They opened up their beautiful house to us and made us feel at home. The house, landscaping and views were gorgeous. They helped us with the best way to get to their place and some interesting things to see in the area.

I wish there was some protein options for breakfast instead of just continental.

Penny and Ross we’re both delightful. We enjoyed visiting with them, sharing stories and hearing about New Zealand. It was a perfect first stop on our first NZ adventure! Thank you!
