Northey Street House

I had the most wonderful experience at 30 Northey Street House, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, Flora, my host, made me feel right at home. Her warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for my entire stay. The property is impeccable, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that are both cozy and elegant. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—WiFi is fast and reliable, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Each morning, Flora served a delicious breakfast that was not only nourishing but also filled with love and care. She also shared invaluable advice on the best places to visit, hidden gems in Salem, and how to make the most of my trip. Her recommendations were spot on, making my stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Salem with all the charm and comfort one could ask for, I highly recommend staying at Northey Street House. Flora truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have an exceptional stay.

Flora was so friendly and pleasant!

It was very warm in our room. It was hard to get comfortable with either the windows open due to humidity or the a/c unit. We tried both.

It’s a beautiful property and comfortable room. Flora the owner was so nice and welcoming!

My stay was wonderful. The owner is amazing and very helpful. She was able to make suggestions about where to eat and where to visit. It's within walking distance of downtown Salem so I didn't need to worry about parking in town. I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast.

Grateful for Everything

The property was fantastic

The house is beautiful, and our room and bathroom were both very spacious. There was a heat spell going on, but luckily there was AC. Flora supplied reusable water bottles, reusable bags (for shopping), and while she kept basic breakfast necessities in the kitchen, she came and cooked for us (the fritata and the cottage cheese and strawberry parfait were particularly yummy).

The Captain's Room (our room) is on the 2nd level, and the other rooms are on the third. The other tenants could get noisy, and were easily heard from our room.

Everything! The location was fantastic - close walking distance to most everything “to do” in Salem. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was perfect, nice hot water and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The host (Flora) was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. She does an absolutely fantastic job going above and beyond in many ways. Highly recommend!!
