B&B Alle Due Porte

The house is an old building with many of the features and timber maintained providing an authentic ambience and sense of history. It is on the other side of the old town from the train station, but still in the heart, and it is an easy and pleasant walk through the old town to arrive there. We chose to take a bus back from Piazza Gramsci because it was raining. Mariangela, the host, was lovely, friendly and very helpful, and provided a good breakfast.

For some reason, I'd thought we may have had views over the valley, but you look onto the narrow streets which in itself gives authenticity to the experience.

The B&B is charming, comfortable and in a great location. Mariangela was the perfect host, from the moment we arrived! She went out of her way to make our stay wonderful, from providing great restaurant recommendations, making reservations, and helping us navigate the sites in the city; particularly getting to the train station. Breakfast was delightful and varied, with a focus on providing local, seasonal offerings. We highly recommend a stay at Alle Due Porte!!!

The water temperature in the shower is a little tricky to regulate, which is not surprising given the age of this historic building.

Casa muito bonita e engraçada. A proprietária Mariangela é de uma simpatia inexcedível. Já foi a Portugal muitas vezes e fala português. Foi um prazer conversar com ela. Muito disponível para ajudar em tudo, reservou o jantar no dia em que chegàmos num restaurante muito bom. Excecional.
