Mick and Nicki were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble! The property is luxurious and has incredible attention to detail. The breakfast was divine, especially the pastries! The bath and the shower are just wonderful. The parking was easy and the property was easy to find. Such a blissful way to switch off from the world. Thanks so much, Mick and Nicki x

Being away from the hustle and bustle

No phone signal, wifi was necessary

A stunning remote rural location in the middle of the island. Mick and Nicky were great hosts to us. Our kindly upgraded room was spacious and stylish to a high end. Lots of walks in the beautiful glen and countryside right from the property. We loved sitting out on our sun terrace in the evenings with a glass of wine. The amazing breakfast was just perfect to start the day.

Excellent continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cold meats and all the trimmings etc.

Stunning, tranquil location, with a stream running through the back garden. Mick and Nicky made us very welcome and they were very helpful too. We liked the space in our room, which was more like a suite. Good wifi connection. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and even smoothies on our last day.

I don't think we disliked anything. One suggestion would be a small occasional table to put drinks on when using the couch. And a property information pack for use of the gadgets. A slight niggle was the mattress, it was uncomfortable for us but that might just be a personal preference.

Very peaceful and friendly hosts.

We found the footpath and steps to the rooms were a bit challenging in the rain and required more lighting and perhaps a handrail.
